DUMBO

Went back to DUMBO again :)  Can NOT get enough of this place!  This time I photographed both Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges in one frame.

Full Moon

Grabbed this shot out the window.  Moon sure moves FAST when it's low in horizon!

Lady Liberty

Went with some friends to Brooklyn for some sunset shots over the weekend. The sky looked GREAT till we got to the Brooklyn Bridge Park.  Clouds from east to west north to south except for one tiny spot north of the Statue of Liberty.  We wait and see if that one tiny spot would move to the Statue of Liberty. Our waiting paid off!  About 3 hours later and half frozen the sky opened up over the Statue of Liberty. Well worth the wait if you ask me! 

This was shot with Lee Filters Big Stopper and .9 GND soft for a 3 minute exposure.

Sunset over the Big Apple

Took this from Hoboken on Presidents Day.  It's a 4 minute exposure using Lee Filters Big Stopper and polarizer.  I love these LONG exposures! :)

Sunset from Long Island City

This was taken a bit earlier than my previous post "NYC Skyline".  For this photo I used Lee Filters Big Stopper and polarizer filters.  These two filters equaled to a SLOW 3 min exposure rendering the East River as silky smooth.

NYC Skyline

Went with some friends to photography the skyline and the Superbowl colors on the Empire State Building tonight in Long Island City.  We need to go back!  Love the views!!!
